Aims & Objectives

The Indian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) has been formed to implement the following objectives:

- To develop a network amongst rehabilitation professionals and personnel to strengthen the field of disability rehabilitation.

- To share and exchange views of rehabilitation professionals about the field of disability.

- To organize a meet of professionals every year and present award & honours for their contributions in the field based on qualification, experience and working areas.

- To do advocacy for the benefit and welfare of rehabilitation professionals as well as for persons with disabilities.

- To do advocacy for equal implementation of Govt. policies for rehabilitation professionals in all the states of the country.

- To publish annual report, magazine, bulletins and journals to undertake knowledge and skills in the field of rehabilitation.

- To develop networking with national and international associations of the field of disability.

- To plan and work for extending professional services to unreached people in different parts of the country.

- To organize seminars, workshops, conferences and exhibitions in different part of the country to acquaint people about rehabilitation.

- To raise funds for various social and professional issues and work towards them as per needs.

- To do all other lawful things which are incidental or conducive to attain the above objectives or any of them which are subsidiary to the said objectives.

- To form State Level Committees and establish State Chapters & small units of the association to carry out essential activities.
